"K's for Kids

Hi Everyone! This year I was lucky enough to be selected to umpire at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA from August 19-29, 2021.  This was a huge surprise to me since umpires are typically only permitted to work any level of LLWS once. Obviously, recent times have been anything but typical, some changes were made, and I received the phone call I never thought I would get!

In conjunction with my visit to Williamsport, I have teamed up with Umps Care Charities to create a fundraiser to benefit this great organization that offers a variety of programs to help kids through the great game of baseball.

For each game that I work, I am asking for a pledge amount per strikeout (K) that occurs during that game. There are 30 games on the schedule and I estimate that I will work approximately 10-15 of them, but I really can't be sure! Anyone who donates $50.00 or more will receive a K’s for Kids Tee Shirt. Donations over $250.00 will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize raffle which will include 4 tickets to a 2022 MLB game along with other goodies!

As an alternative, you can make a one time donation rather than a pledge amount per “K”.

I will be posting my daily schedule and updates on my Facebook page at
