Player Evaluations

OUR 2010 PLAYER EVALUATIONS HAVE TAKEN PLACE. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED OF YOUR TEAM PLACEMENT IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS.

 

2010 Mandatory Player Evaluations have been set for:
 
Sunday February 28, 2010 and Sunday March 7, 2010
 
Location: Shelton High School Gym 
120 Meadow St.
Shelton, CT  06484
 
Specific times for each age division are listed below.
 
Evaluations will start at 1:00 PM.
 
Players ages 5-6 do not need to attend evaluations. They will be placed on a Tee Ball team.
 
Players ages 7-8 MUST attend at least one of the sessions.
 
Players ages 9-12 MUST attend at least one of the sessions and are encouraged to attend both in order to be evaluated for placement on a Major League team. 
 
League age is as of April 30, 2010 for baseball and December 31, 2009 for softball.
 
****Any player age 10-12 already on a major team from last year will be returning to the same team so there is no need to attend evaluations!******
 
 
This schedule will be followed as closely as possible. Please realize that there might be some waiting involved. We ask for your patience. We will move along as quickly as possible.
Players will be called in alphabetical order.

PARENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE GYM DURING EVALUATIONS.
 
 
Players are asked to dress comfortable and bring their own glove and bat if they have one. We will provide bats and a helmet for those players who do not have one.
 
Each player will be evaluated while taking some swings in the batting cage, fielding ground balls and fly balls as well as throwing.
